Andreas Widmer to speak at JPIICHS

Andreas Widmer will be on campus to speak to the school community on Thursday, 10 January 2013, beginning at 8:10 a.m. Mr. Widmer is a high profile, highly sought-after Catholic speaker, and we are very pleased to be able to host him and to listen to his message.

He began his career and ministry as a Swiss Guardsman, protecting Pope John Paul II, and has since led a varied career in business and Catholic ministry. For him those three years of service, and his direct and frequent interaction with the Holy Father touched his life, led him deeper into his faith, and grew in him a vibrant Marian spirituality.

His presentation will be on Christian leadership; he is currently promoting his book, The Pope and the CEO, in which he shows how lessons learned from Pope John Paul's life and words speak to business leaders and Christian leaders in general. He draws on his own experiences and others. It is a remarkable work, and his message will be for all in our community, students, teachers, parents, and friends of JPII.

All within our school community are welcome on Thursday morning -- bring a colleague, parents!
