Monday, 29 August

Sophomore Retreat

The sophomores will spend a day together bonding as a class as they head to Newk’s in New Braunfels to climb their ropes course first thing in the morning. They will then picnic together at St. Thomas in Canyon Lake, followed by a service project there. They will conclude with mass and return to school by 3:30 pm. Attire for the day is blue & gold dress. The type of bottoms they may wear will be discussed with them during the week.

Ms. Brinkman, our new Director of Formation, has started a Solidarity newsletter that will update the SJPII community on what was covered that week during Solidarity. SJPII Student Activities

 

Monday, 22 August

Meeting for all offseason athletes: There will be a meeting in the Guardian Chapel at 3 pm for any SJPII athlete that is not currently in season. This includes any 9th graders who are interested in participating in a Winter or Spring sport. Offseason workouts will begin Tuesday, 23 August.

 

Tuesday, 23 August

F/JV/V Volleyball @Randolph, 5/6/7 pm

 

Thursday, 25 August

FIRST HOME FOOTBALL GAME & FAN BUS

V Football vs. Natalia, 730 pm at TLU

The fan bus will leave at 6 pm. Sign up at the front office!

 

**The football team is looking for team managers. Please see Coach McCabe if you are interested**

 

Friday, 26 August

JV Football at Natalia, 5pm

 

Saturday, 27 August

Cross Country at Lockhart City Park

**Anyone interested in the SJPII Swim Team, please contact Coach Steve Van Sciver at [email protected] and Laura/Jim Feider at [email protected] for more information. A sign up roster is at the front counter for those interested in joining---the season goes from October through February. Come out and join the fun!**
