Note this Friday: Special schedule, due to funeral Mass for Mr. Travis. Paperwork sent home to all families

• No school on Monday, 18 February 2013 – Presidents’ Day

Fish Fry Needs: This Friday, 15 February 2013 is our third annual Fish Fry, from 3:30 - 8:00 p.m. We are asking for all in our community to participate, and to be a part of this event. It is important and we hope that all will make it out. Three needs at this time:

1. Again, as requested, dessert donations are appreciated, to help with the funeral reception and then with the fish fry. Please drop off on Thursday or Friday morning,.
2. The fish fry team is again running a small, in-event raffle as they sell fish fry plates. They are asking for gift cards - $5, $10 cards for Starbucks, Sonic, iTunes, Academy, HEB, etc. – to use as a part of the raffle prizes. Thanks for any help you can give. Drop them off in the office by Thursday.
3. The fish fry team has a pre-order form, that will help them to plan ahead and have plates for all. Get that form through this link. Drop the copy off in the office.

Golf Tournament Update: We are pleased to announce that we have fifteen teams registered so far and are getting a few more each day. There is still room for interested golfers, teams, and sponsors – go to the web site or call Mr. McCabe at the school 830-643-0802. The tournament is this Saturday, 15 February 2013, 11 a.m. registration and lunch – Olympia Hills. Any parent interested in helping out, please contact Mr. McCabe soonest.

Senior Parent Meeting: Reminder that our next senior parent meeting is Wednesday, 20 February 2013, at 7 p.m. in the media center.
• A reminder: today, Matt Grotchett from Herff Jones was here to take orders for invitations and gowns and other items for graduation. A little over half of the forms were returned. Matt asked that he get all of the forms by Wednesday next week. They can be dropped off in the office. The key item is the graduation invitation. Those need to be ordered and printed. After this order, they cannot be re-ordered.

New Guardian Night: The evening for accepted 8^th graders – we need student and parent help! Wednesday, 27 February 2013 – 6:15 – 8:30 p.m.

Frosh retreats: Paperwork was emailed today – Tuesday, 12 Feb. Frosh gents retreat is Thursday, 28 Feb – Fri., 1 March. Frosh ladies retreat is Thursday, 21 March – Fri., 22 March.

Spring athletics getting started: All of our spring sports are in full swing. Softball, baseball, track – tennis is coming. Students should see Mr. McCabe if they haven’t already gotten involved.

Blue & Gold Dinner - save the date: Friday, 5 April 2013, 6:30 p.m. Parents, don’t miss out on this fun event!

Senior Night: Senior Night for women’s soccer: 21 Feb.
