Advent to Christmastime On behalf of the staff and teachers at John Paul II Catholic High School We hope all have a blessed Christmastime, spending the twelve days of Christmas with family and friends, enjoying the peace and joy of this season.
Report cards posted: We have report cards posted on 2 January 2013. Teachers are working to grade and input exams this week (26-29 Dec.), finalizing grades and reports over the weekend.
Classes resume: Note classes resume on Monday, 7 January 2013, at 8 a.m., regular dress. As students arrive to school that morning, there will be a printed schedule for them. In most cases, all classes remain the same periods during the day, but in a few cases, the schedule does change.
Catholic Life Raffle: Remember that the Catholic Life Raffle continues through the end of the first week of January classes (to Friday, 11 January 2013). We count on this revenue as a part of our operating budget. We hope that all of found their opportunities over the Christmas break to sell tickets.
Please do all that you can to turn in monies and ticket stubs early in the week on Monday or Tuesday, 7 or 8 January. It will be very helpful to the committee.
Mandatory Monthly Parent Meeting: Monday, 14 January 2013, 6:45 p.m. The January 2013 monthly parent meeting will be a great way for us all to get on top of the new semester, and all of the events and deadlines and instructions for the next five months. We will have packets printed for all, and some time for socializing from 6:45-7:00. At 7 p.m., we will start with prayer, and will conclude within 55 minutes. Thanks for making this a priority and sending at least one parent from each family.

Thanks to our parent volunteers for the morning exam break – Mr. and Mrs. Sebastyn, Mrs. Berger, Mr. Bailey, Mr. Zgabay, Mrs. Mejia, Mr. Gilman, and Ms. Quinones from the cafeteria staff. Thanks for the early morning help – we all, students and teachers, loved having the extra sustenance.
Thanks as well to the parent committee in charge of the faculty Christmas luncheon. It was much appreciated by our teachers and staff – thanks!
