Catholic schools week: We are observing Catholic Schools Week with the following activities: Friday – Noon Dismissal. Teacher Appreciation Day. Students can dress up as their favorite teacher, and teachers can dress as students. (Otherwise, normal dress please.) Friday is our day to recognize and thank teachers.
Casino Night: Save the date: Student Casino Night and Dance, Saturday, 2 Feb., 7 p.m.@ JPII. Tickets on sale - $15. (It is $20 at the door.) This includes gaming chips, refreshments, and the chance for fabulous prizes!
Fish Fry: Place it on your calendar! Phone your friends! Post it on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram! The 3rd annual Fish Fry is here! Friday, 15 February 2013 – from 3:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Don’t miss it! All proceeds support student activities – call your friends, neighbors – it’s the first Friday of Lent.

************************************ • Congratulations to our swim team, who placed second at the TAPPS Division III Regional Swim Meet (boys team) on Wednesday! All members swam great races, and many posted their best times of the year. Great job, Hannah Curry, Teresa Harkins, Robert Bailey, JP Feider, Will McKinley, Joe Knotts, and Daniel Van Sciver! Thanks to team parent and coach Steve Van Sciver!
• THANKS to all who helped at and participated in the Knight with the Seminarians on Saturday evening. The fundraiser pulled in their highest amount to-date, all monies given to area seminaries and seminarians.
