TAPPS 2A State Champs!

Ring the bell! Congratulations to our boys cross country team for bringing home the school's first team state championship. The boys won the TAPPS 2A State Meet held in Waco, Texas, on Saturday, 26 October 2013. The girls team was state runner-up! Great showing, teams!

Congratulations to our volleyball team -- they clinched the school's first team district championship last Monday, 21 October 2013 with a thrilling win over Shiner St. Paul in five games.

All in all, a great Saturday to be a Guardian!
• The swim team competed in their second meet of the season -- two weekends ago they finished well and will do so this weekend.
• The debate team competed in their second meet of the season at St. Mary's Hall. Three weeks ago at MacArthur, they finished in second in the expert and novice divisions.
• The basketball teams opened their seasons with scrimmages at SA Lutheran.
• The volleyball team learned they are moving on to the second round. Their first round opponent opted out of playing; the team will play at a neutral site versus the winner of SA Lutheran and Hallettsville Sacred Heart, on Saturday, 2 November 2013.
