On Saturday, 15 October, the SJPII Cross Country team traveled to Marble Falls for the TAPPS 4A District 4 cross country meet, hosted by Marble Falls Faith. Both the women's and men's team won their races, and are now setting their sights on the TAPPS state meet in two weeks. "The team has worked very hard to get to this point, and now is when all the hard work in the summer and during the year start to really pay off," commented Head Coach Alonzo Rodriguez.
That afternoon, the volleyball team hosted Brentwood Christian School in an important TAPPS 4A - District 4 match-up. The ladies won in three sets, and were dominant throughout the match. With the win, the team moves to 12-0, and 31-5 for the year. They are now setting their sights on the play-offs which will start in two weeks. "We are continuing to get better each game," said Head Coach Danielle Gonzalez.
