Knight with the Seminarians:Saturday, 26 January 2013, starting with Mass at 5 p.m. at Sts. Peter & Paul Church, followed by dinner at 6:15 p.m. at the Knights Hall in New Braunfels. Every year, our school supports the Knights of Columbus Council 4183 in New Braunfels and their special event, Knight with the Seminarians. The Council raises funds for five area seminaries and honors all seminarians at the dinner. Our school has been serving and helping at the dinner for the last three years and will continue this tradition in perpetuity!
• FINAL INSTRUCTIONS: Freshmen, sophomores, and juniors who are helping to serve: Be at the Knights Hall, by 4:30. If you would like a ride from the school, be at JPIICHS by 3:30. Servers need to wear white button–up collared shirts, and black pants.
• Choir members should wear Wednesday school Mass attire. Again, bus leaves from school at 3:30 if needed. Choir members and other students can ride the bus from the church to the Knights Hall after Mass.
• Note two more parts of the evening: Our choir will be singing and playing at the Sts. Peter & Paul 5 p.m. Mass that day, and will be performing at the dinner itself. They need to be at the church by 4 p.m. • Secondly, a generous donor has purchased two tables for the Class of 2013. Seniors will all have a seat at the dinner, and will be recognized that evening at the dinner. (This is a tradition the school will continue each year, seniors get to attend as guests!)
