August 1: First Day of Cheer, Cross Country, Football, Volleyball Practices

The start of fall sports is around the corner. Attached are the football and volleyball practice schedules for August and the cross country schedule is below.

August 5: Community Work Day! Join us on campus Saturday morning, 8 am. We are looking to finish up a few projects before we begin school to get the students excited about the new school year.

August 10: New Parents Orientation. This presentation will help new parents navigate the school year as well as all of our events throughout the year.

August 13: Retreat for Student Solidarity Leaders & faculty from 8:30 am - 3:30 pm on campus.

August 14: Back to School BBQ, 6:30 -8:30 pm. Join us for a community-wide get together on campus the week that school starts! This is a great time to order spirit wear items, learn about and sign up for volunteer opportunities at our upcoming events, and build community. 

August 15: Organization Day: come in any time between 9 am and 3 pm to pick up your schedule, bring in your school supplies, and get your locker number. http://www.johnpaul2chs.org/documents/2017/7/School%20Supply%20List.pdf

August 16: First Day of School/All School Retreat- We will have a retreat & mass day for all students. Students will be provided lunch and should report to school at 8 am in Blue & Gold Dress (navy shirt with gold John Paul II, jeans, and closed toe shoes.)

August 17: Senior Class of 2018 Mtg- We will hold a presentation for senior parents and their students. This will be a review of all senior events through the year.

August 21: Back to School Night, 6:30 pm- This is a night for parents to meet their student’s teachers and spend a few minutes in each of their classes reviewing expectations and a review of the school year.

August 23: Yearbook Pictures, 7 am. Mass Dress!
