Service Day at St. Thomas Canyon Lake Parish

Twenty-six sophomores traveled out to St. Thomas Canyon Lake Parish, to work on Thursday, 25 April 2013. The project was helping complete Phase I of their Meditation Gardens and prayer trails. The group split into five different teams, and mulched flower beds, cleared rocks, established trails, cleared brush, set up a series of steps, and formed a rock wall that will be a seating area in front of a large cross. The Cross, which will be donated by Catholic Life Insurance, Seguin Branch, will be the center of the whole area, and will be in place in the next month.

The parish was very excited and appreciative of the hard work and great spirit of our students.
