There are many ways to visit St. John Paul II Catholic High School. Here are just some -- call to schedule your visit!
In Fall 2016, the admissions season begins in late September, with events during the day and evening. During the school day, we host area Catholic school 8th grade classes for Mass, a tour, and visits with students, parents, and teachers. Students and families from other schools are welcome to attend those in-school-day sessions; call to learn more.
On Saturday, 22 October 2016, from 9:00 a.m. - 1 p.m., we will be hosting an Open House event for families -- parents and students -- in a very special format. That day, we will be having many different campus groups up and about and many of our teachers and students will be on campus. It will be a great day to see our community in action.
Starting in October, 8th graders can also schedule a shadow visit. These day-long visits offer students the chance to "try on" SJPII; the student will be paired up with a current freshman and follow him/her to all classes; please contact 830-643-0802 for more information.
Current high school 9th and 10th graders can also schedule shadow visits; they would shadow a student from their current grade level.
Other ways to visit would be to come to some of our events. Here are a few:
• Weekly Wednesday morning Masses at the school (9:05)
• Our home Friday night football or volleyball games (Tuesdays, Thursdays)
• Homecoming Week - 24-28 October 2016
• Our Open House (Sat., 22 Oct. 2016)
• Our Spring Fish Fry (Friday, 3 March 2017)
Finally, the best way to visit is to call and schedule your own tour. We are pleased to be able to share this school and mission with more and more families.
